Before the Wednesday lecture, I wasn’t aware of this artist or their work. I very much enjoyed the lecture as I liked how the artist interacted and engaged with the audience, after this lecture was over I felt happy and positive about my day because of how much fun we had when we were making noises to work with his work. I liked how enthusiastic and different the Lecture was, he was unlike any other speaker we had come into our Lectures. However, I don’t think I could use anything from this talk to put into my own work as my work tends to be more about myself or people/the world around me, I basically tend to keep my work self-absorbed although I have been experimenting a lot lately with different types of material eg, film, objects. However, I did enjoy the pieces which he talked about during the lecture and I really enjoyed the piece he created interacting with us as the audience to create sound to match his movement when making marks on the paper; but I could not see myself creating work similar to his at the moment.
