CHRIS EVANS- ARTIST LECTURE

• Travelling exhibition in Amsterdam.
• Hired roots on wheels.
• He created the music for radio root Cana 2007.
• Very unusual music, included a French man speaking in a very peculiar way with disco music playing in the back, with a deep and scary sounding. Then used what sounded like an organ playing the highest of the notes, not in time with the bass but replicating it's production.
• Reminded of a 60's horror movie, created a sense of unease.

Rock the Judge 

 He had a man in his class who was an ex police ma and he wondered why he was on the course. He looked through his sketchbooks and found piles of sketches including judges. He thought maybe something must have 'gone wrong there' or maybe something could've happened. He tried to reach to him and got no response. So he asked police officers to draw a photo of  judge and this was the drawing he used for his exhibition piece. 

7He then created a sculpture to go with this piece and the sculpture to go with this piece and the sculpture was created for the judge to judge it, ironically.
